Caller: Hi,How are you.I've watched the news and it's terribleAre you safe? How's your family
Me: Thank you, yeah I'm safe coz we are far from the place but the whole country is affected. We feel for them and I still cry everytime I watch the evening news. Caller: That must be very devastating, just know that we NZlanders feel for you all.My father use to serve in Leyte and he had been telling me stories about how amazing Filipinos are.I have heard so much about you guys and I really think you Filipinos are great and awesome.

An old man who has speech deffect was ringing a number for HSBC but he's got an 0845 so that means it's not accessible on his end.I tried to ask the operator in the UK to give us a local number which the operator did. When I got back to the caller,he's having a hard time speaking and getting the number. His pen is not working so he has to find another one and it took few minutes. When I asked him if he's with someone else,he said he's alone and I thought that was so sad.How could an old man like him live alone ?

August 2015
As of November 2015, I have surrendered my headset and took a job that doesn't let you talk at all. I sometimes miss talking to callers on the phone and I will miss updating this blog.
