My closest BFF in High school. She's currently married with a son and now resides in Dagupan.During our high school days,I use to hang out on her boarding house during lunch. She was the strongest person I ever met and in a way had encourage me so much to be thankful in whatever I had in life be big or small. She's constantly also a reminder for me to be strong and never give up.Despite her being handicapped (she lost one foot when she was a child ) I never saw her self pity. She's the funnier one and she made me laugh a lot.She would arm wrestle with the strongest guy in school. She would also race with me and most of the time, she won.She had that amazing confidence that I never had. That's why when we graduated,I never stopped looking for her.I found her via FB.
We text each other from time to time but I guess those years of silence changed us but I guess, that's how life is.Either I met her for a reason or she's a good lesson.I think she's both. Things might have change now but one thing that always stays is the sweet memories of her.I'm thankful and blessed to have met her and she became part of my life coz I know without her,my high school life might have been too much depressing as I have no one to talk to before.I thank God for her life and I always pray that God will continuously bless her with new hopes and more opportunities each day. I've missed her but we have our own lives that we were busy with now.I would still love to hang out with her if only we are not miles apart.I still can do that of course, maybe if the perfect opportunity comes. My time with her reminded me to really live each moment fully because once it's gone,it's gone forever. And those memories will always be our bind as we grow older. May God bless her with strength and to never give up always!
