Earlier today, I was watching Emma Watson interviewing Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani Nobel peace prize awardee who has survived the nightmares of oppression in her country for promoting education. Her father being an educator has the biggest influence in her life & has trained her to be the strong & unfazed at such an early age.
She was the girl who stood up and fight for her right to education. When asked what her ultimate dream is or if given the chance to have super power & do whatever she wanted, it would be to go back home to her country & start her dream of bringing education home and actually put her dreams into action. She now has the MALALA FUND, an NGO supported & endorsed by some celebrities. It was just so amazing & inspiring how a teenager can have such depth of insight & deep passion in life. While most girls her age worry about rejection, peer pressure & heart breaks, she is busy facing world leaders with the hopes of getting their support and commitment to promote education.
